Amazon.com Product Description:
Designed for people who need to manage their business and personal lives equally well, the Nokia E63 is a more affordable sibling of the popular E71 mobile phone and it features many of the same features but in a plastic case rather than metal. With the E63, you'll be able to easily stay on top of your email inbox with a full QWERTY keyboard and support for corporate communication via Microsoft Exchange. It's ready to run on 3G networks here in the U.S. (850/1900 MHz UMTS), enabling fast downloads and streaming multimedia while on the go.

Enjoy access to all your email--personal and corporate--as well as text and instant messaging.

The 2-megapixel camera includes an LED flash and video capture capabilities for clips up to 1 hour in length.
It includes integrated Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11b/g) for accessing open networks at work, at home, and on the road as well as connecting to Voice over IP (VoIP) internet telephony services. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, Bluetooth for handsfree devices and stereo music streaming, MicroSD memory expansion (up to 8 GB), built-in Nokia Maps application, 3.5mm headset jack, and up to 10.5 hours of talk time on standard GSM networks.

Unlocked Phone
This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides quad-band connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. This phone comes with a full manufacturer's warranty.

Additionally, this version of the E63 (E63-2) can be paired with 850/1900 MHz UMTS 3G networks in the United States. When paired with a compatible 3G network, you'll enjoy a high-speed connection offering a variety of feature-rich wireless services--from data connectivity to your office to multimedia streaming, and take advantage of simultaneous voice and data services. In areas in the U.S. not served by a 3G network or in foreign territories, you'll continue to receive data service via EDGE network (depending on network compatibility).

Phone Features
As stylish as it is functional, the Nokia E63 sports a 2.4-inch LCD screen with a 320 x 240-pixel resolution and support for 16 million colors. The full QWERTY keyboard makes it easy to compose and respond to email with just one hand. It features intelligent input with auto-completion, auto-correction, and learning capability for fast and error-free typing. The Nokia E63 also has the ability to switch modes with a single key press--switching from a view of corporate mail, appointments and intranet data to a personal mode with a picture of friends, personal email and shortcuts to favorite hobby blogs or websites. This phone has a 110 MB internal memory, which can be expanded via optional MicroSD memory cards (up to 8 GB in size).

The Nokia E63 comes fully equipped for easy-to-install and easy-to-use professional and personal email. People who use Microsoft Exchange at work can access their email using the Mail for Exchange mobile email client, which comes pre-loaded. You'll enjoy reliable real-time access to your email, calendar, contacts and tasks, as well as be able to download attachments like Word, Excel, Powerpoint or PDF files directly to the device.

The Nokia E63 also supports email accounts from more than a thousand internet service providers (ISPs) around the world, as well as Gmail, Yahoo! mail and Hotmail. Additionally, it supports the Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email solution as well as third party email solutions like System Seven and Visto Mobile.

Handsfree communication is easy thanks to the integrated speakerphone. This phone also provides Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and file transfer. With the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking--surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server (additional charges or subscription applicable).

In addition to its messaging capabilities, the E63 features a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, Bluetooth stereo music streaming, and MicroSD expansion up to 8 GB.
The 2-megapixel camera (1600 x 1200-pixel maximum resolution) offers a wealth of features, including a digital zoom, LED flash, white balance modes, and a self timer. The phone can capture video clips up to 320 x 240 pixels (at 15 frames per second) at up to 1 hour in length, and it offers several adjustments including scene and white balance.

Take your media with you when you're out on the go. You can listen to your favorite radio programs via the integrated FM radio.

overall disappointment
have owned this phone three weeks. consider myself fairly technologically astute, a quick study, willing to invest the time to play and learn. the phone itself is physically pleasing, visually and ergonomically, but the menus and OS are some of the most convoluted and user unfriendly i've encountered in any gadget. tie-ins with nokia account and ovi files are hopeless. by the time you create user names and passwords, get their emails which direct you somewhere else-then figure out the dif between the pc suite and ovi suite, only to be told 'before doing this, download the latest software update for your device', with no link or indication of how to do that..then get a text to your device which leads nowhere...download tons of programs to the 'puter then sync it up with the device...almost always hitting an impenetrable snag... it is a all hopeless and disconnected mishmash...i've had at least six emails from nokia/ovi in my inbox for weeks, proceed to their links describing all the ways i can sync up my phone and 'puter and downloads i can use and in spite of great effort have nothing but wasted time and frustration to show for it...everything's a wind-up and dead end...have never seen so much offered (multiple map systems, messaging and email aps all overlapping and confusing...with charges accruing for every little cul de sac and dead end maneuver you investigate...whole point of this phone for me was the no contract ability to tap into internet on free wifi...but this has been a complete failure everywhere except my own home...it's located and identified in other places but a box always comes up asking for pre-shared WEP or WAN codes before proceeding...sorting things out in the phone's menus and options is so convoluted and anti-intuitive that in spite of hours of experimentation the past two weeks i've almost nothing to show for it...

on the plus side i have purchased the otter cover (nice) and cable and memory card, put a little music on it, the intranet and internet radio are nice...call quality is middling...and to wrap up the manual is a hundred and twenty pages of almost unlimited things you can do with this marvelous device...ninety nine and a half percent of which the average (or above) person will never figure out...you will watch the iphone commercials and drool at the beauty and simplicity missing on this device...but hey whatdaya want for a buck twenty...?

Not all it's hpyed to be
I needed a phone. I have never owned a nokia before. I have owned mororolas, which I have been very happy with, and a blackberry. I thought that this phone was reasonably priced for what it said it could do. I am disappointed with the phone. My contacts would not come over with the sim card. I had to use the bluetooth device and send them over individually manually. Next, I am not into the games and synchronisation of my outlook or anything like that, but I do not find the screen userfriendly. The phone's navigation is a nightmare and after four days' trial with the phone I still cannot get it 'personalised'. I cannot get my home screen to display the icons that I would like it to. I was able to navigate the blackberry and motorola easily without the manual. The motorola phone I have is still working even though the phone fell and the back came loose.

In summary, I prefer the Blackberry or motorola for e-mail retrieval and synchronisation of outlook.

Great Unlocked Smartphone
I got this smartphone in color black from somewhere else as a bundle with the bluetooth headset when it first came out.

Aesthetics
Personally, I prefer the black tone color of the body then the red/blue. It makes it look professional and less of a "candy bar." The whole exterior casing of the phone is soft and siliconed, unlike Nokia's E71's metal casing. In terms of thickness, sure, the E63 model is slightly thicker than E71.

Features
This phone lacks an internal GPS, has a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, has an ambient light sensor (turns on keyboard light when lighting is dim/dark), has a voice recorder, calendar, Wi-fi capable, and lacks a volume rocker control on the side. It would have been great if you can control the volume without entering through the menu on the phone.

Functionality
Like all smartphones, it has a full QWERTY keyboard and the keys feel just right when pressed (keys are raised with hard texture), although the space bar is quite small. What's so great about this E series is that it is cheaper than the E71 and offers similar functionality (sans the GPS) of the E71.

Currently, the purchase of this phone includes Nokia Mail (a free service), which is similar to Blackberry Mail where mail is pushed directly to the phone within minutes of receiving new mail). Setup for mail works flawlessly with Gmail and other 3rd party IMAP accounts. However, the phone came with the old version of Nokia Mail (doesn't download whole email messages automatically; only fetches mail headers), so you will need to manually download the new version of Nokia Mail in the OVI store.

Applications
The Novia OVI store is accessible for this phone and you can download free apps and purchase premium apps conveniently on your phone. You can also download OVI free maps for this phone even though it lacks a GPS. Just make sure to upgrade to the latest phone's firmware via Nokia OVI suite for PC on your computer. Some must-have apps include Google Mobile, Google Maps, and Opera Mini internet browser.

Compatibility
This phone works on AT&T's 3G network and T-Mobile's EDGE network only. Just to clarify for newcomers, this phone will not work on Verizon and Sprint networks.

Accessories
Two things that didn't come included were a micro sdhc memory card and a microusb connecting cable, the cable which can be easily purchased for about . (I would have given 5 stars if it came with the cable at least).

Overall, this Nokia smartphone is economically priced for a smartphone that offers a bunch of features.

very exciting phone
i bought this phone and am still learning of all the features ......nokia is really the best phone company.......plus i did not take long to get it and it came within 3 days..thanks amazon

Are you serious?!
Its hard to find a phone that does everything you want it to. Ive been looking for a phone with a good qwerty keyboard and accuracy because im a heavy text messenger. This phone delivers on that and more. So much capability with this phone from GPS to Video calls for this price its almost a steal. I was skeptical about ordering this phone at first because if I dont like it im too lazy to send it bacc. But take it from a picky buyer. You cant go wrong with the E-63

Does not work
This product does not work, but because I am so busy I did not have time to ship it back. I guess I will go back to purchasing things from a physical store.

Over rated
Don't lke it does not cancel out noise enough. would not recommend purchase of the product to anyone. Howevr the service of delivery was speedy. I went back to using the jawbone first generation.

Good,different but could be better.
I have a cheap Samsung bluetooth that has better sound quality-when I saw that this was handsfree and all the other features thats what sold me-I hope the newer model has better sound!

Look mom, no hands!
This is a great product specially for people who is very very busy... like me. I am constantly in the run. I usually start cleaning around the house, dealing with my car, eating in my car and when I receive I call it tells me the number and then tells you if you want to take the call or not... and you have to is say "Yes"! Is a beautiful product for people who wants to even more productive!

Best Headset I've owned to date!
The BlueAnt V1.1 bluetooth headset works exactly as advertised - it is very easy to use. There is no "voice training" involved - it understands your spoken words immediately. Very well constructed, very good engineering. Extremely light weight and comfortable. Comes complete with AC and car charger and USB charger - the only additional item to purchase might be a current/voltage converter if you are an international traveler. One issue I had was my Blackberry Storm would not recognize the headset until I upgraded the headset firmware (a 5 minute process well explained), but I consider this to be a non-issue.

Customer Reviews

the keyboard feet always break
This is the second time the keyboard feet have broken. The worst part is they can't send you replacement feet, you have to send the entire thing back and then they send you a new one. others have had this same problem. Based on my experience, I would avoid this product.

Originally Labeled Incorrectly
This was originally labeled as a bluetooth setup. Doesn't work with PS3 so I gave it to my mom... She seems to like it...

Good for the price
If you are going to use this keyboard every day for hours, get something else.
However this is a good wireless keyboard for occasional use.

I rated the construction quality 3/5 since its not exactly heavy duty and feels that way.

Functionally they are good.

Customer Support - Not so much!
The first of these that I bought, the feet that holds the keyboard up at an angle broke within two months. This was NOT from hard use. I got a second one by persistence with their customer support. The second one I have had for a year or so and the same thing happened with the feet. Customer support tells me there are no replacement parts for this and since mine is now out of warranty, I'm out of luck. Now I can either lean the thing on a book or buy a new one. I'm going to buy a new one - I promise you it won't be Logitech. If they are going to have cheap flimsy parts that fall apart with normal use, the least they could do is provide replacements. As for other factors, it operated adequately, burned through batteries at a prodigious rate and never did have the feel that is really comfortable. I may have been generous in my star ratings.

Some trouble with Windows 7, but functional
The keyboard and mouse have a decent touch and appropiate sensitivity. My only complaint about this inexpensive, functional set is that I still get an "Incompatibility Issue with Windows 7" message when I start my Windows 7 computer, even after I downloaded the recommended software from Logitech. However, everything seems to function properly and there have been no additional problems.
